Lift up your heads, O gates!

Psalm 24 celebrates the arrival of the Lord himself into the Temple in Jerusalem. In welcoming the Lord of Heaven, the gates are too low and narrow to allow Him to pass, so they are asked, poetically, to raise themselves up:

Lift up your heads, O gates!
and be lifted up, O ancient doors!
that the King of glory may come in.
Psalm 24:7

Stretching this image a bit to our own building, you can see the steel workers doing final measurements before installing the first unit of structural steel into place in the window bay that serves the Kindergarten and Grade 7 classrooms.
In order to make room for the new steel units, the entire window bay had to be removed and opened up. With work progressing on schedule, we rejoice as we welcome the steel.
