One week down...

The work during this first week of construction focused on removing the layers of carpet and old tile from each classroom. With the concrete floor exposed and everything out of the way, the contractors will begin installing temporary shoring in the next week. The shoring will keep the building stable as they begin to remove the windows and surrounding brick and masonry.
